My Walls

“My Walls” is an analogical series referring to the struggle of intimacy - the wanting it and dreading it at the same time. By using the actual walls and exterior or her house, Michaela paints these scenes where she offers a glance into her personal life, but embeds different visual obstacles and layers that hinder the viewer to fully enter in, causing a tension of curiosity.
