During early COVID-19 lockdown, Michaela gathered screenshot images from family and friends who had taken photos of their virtual interactions with loved ones, and created paintings of each one.  As a method of unifying the experiences of almost every individual worldwide, the feeling of disconnection, loneliness, and isolation which ran as rampant as the pandemic found comfort in the moments of intentional slowing down and caring about another.
